A LITTLE ABOUT THE AGGIES

The reigning Alabama 4A state champions come to the Gulf Coast Holiday Classic for the first time and they bring a tone of athleticism with them. Joseph Taylor has good size at the guard spot and leads the Aggies in scoring at a little over 17 points per game. Landon Duckworth is the most notable name on the roster as the star quarterback led the football team to a state championship last month. He's also the second leading scorer averaging 11.3 per game. Keeyun Chapman adds size and athleticism while leading Jackson in rebounds this season. Roderick Hamilton is the third leading scorer at a tad under 10 points per game. Although the Aggies lost their best player in Micah Caster, who graduated and is now a guard at Louisiana-Monroe, they still have enough fire power to repeat.
